The crazy TOHO posters are so abstract and full of color, attempting to recreate a Mothra movie poster onto a Godzilla toy was a huge challenge. The bumpy texture of Godzilla was a lot of fun. I don’t think this would make much sense if you have never seen the Mothra poster, but I had to do it once I had the idea.
