The Mark Harvey Show
Directed by Louisa Suta at Viacom San Francisco Public Access Channel

Episode 1:

Louisa had been volunteering at San Francisco Public Access in order to receive some free studio time. Her friend Justin Bond was going to lead the variety show, but when Louisa's studio time arrived, Justin had a gig in NY city, so he was not available. Louisa phoned me, and I mentioned that my good buddy Mark Harvey would be great as a talk show host. With just a week to find talent and guests, The Mark Harvey show was born. In our first show we feature Fashions by Scott Pimentel, The Pivniks take us down to Pivnik Farm, Sean Casement and Jake Elliott perform Mission of Burma's Revolver. Dan Jenkins reads his poem, I Love You Baby. Ear Plug performs their tune, Thomas Edison. Thanks for joining us.

Episode 2:

San Francisco band, Bo Grumpus performs with Craig Ventresco on guitar and Pete Divine on percussion. More fashions by Scott Pimentel. We return to the Pivnik Farm in, Sweet Dick Goes Fishing. We play a clip from Justin Bond's live show where he performs David Byrne's Psycho Killer. Peninsula band, Gromatosh jam out for a while, and that ends our show.

Episode 3:

Mark Harvey interviews Richard McGhee Star Vocalist. Louisa and I had gone to a Justin Bond show at Cabaret duNord in the Castro, and Richard McGhee was opening. After Richard's set, I had the chance to meet him and have a talk. I asked him if I could do a video documentary, and he agreed. I went to a couple of his shows and video taped the performance. Then Mark and I conducted the interview at Richard's apartment in the Tenderloin of downtown San Francisco. We all became such good friends. For more visit: RichardMcGhee.com
